The wagon is intended for transportation of limestone and different types of bulk goods sensitive to weather conditions. Protection of cargo area is assured by hard roof that swings to one side while being opened. One door at each side provide excellent sealing, with reinforcements positioned from the outer side to ensure best possible unloading, making it perfect for bulk cargo with smaller granulation.

Loading of wagon is done through large top opening by upper storages or conveyor belts that ensure evenly distribution of loaded cargo. Unloading is done by gravity through wagon side doors, and material flows outside of the rail tracks to underground unloading storages. Wagon is equipped with pneumatic system for operating with roof and doors, but also has additional backup pneumatic system. Operating with locking device is also done by pneumatic system that through lever system and paws provides locking/unlocking of doors on both lateral sides of the wagon at the same time.

With its design, manufacture and equipment, the wagon meets the existing TSI, EN, UIC, ERRI and GCU.
