Đuro Đaković Specijalna vozila d.d., a company within Đuro Đaković Group, signed a contract with the German company GATX RailGermanyGmbH for the delivery of freight wagons for steel coil transport.

The contract is worth 33,1 million HRK, and the wagons will be manufactured and delivered in the third quarter of the year 2018.

Wagons of the type Shimmns TTU are 4‐axled closed wagons designed for transport of steel coils, primarily used in the automobile industry. The coils are put into cargo saddles, which are equipped with a specially designed fixing mechanism and protected from all atmospheric and environmental influences by means of a movable tarpaulin system. This system enables loading and unloading by means of a crane with grips, magnet or C-hook, as well as side access for loading by forklift.
